Kwara Residents Urged To Volunteer Information To Security Agents

Residents of kwara state have been urged to volunteer information that will enable security agents carry out their role of securing lives and property.

Some youths in Ilorin, the Kwara State Capital under the aegis of peace volunteer group who stated this submits that security is a collective responsibility of all citizens.

The convener, James Gbadeyan at a special prayer for kwara and the nation at large, raised concern over the spate of criminality recorded in the state in recent time, attributing it to the nonchalant attitude of members of the society who feel less concerned on security issues around them.

He also advised youths to desist from being used as political thugs, thereby disrupting the peace the state is known for.

Gbadeyan stressed that the peace of the nation is in the hands of the youth and they must desist from doing anything that would breach.
